Sokudo Electric Targets 200 Vehicle mobility outlook

Sokudo Electric has opened a new flagship store in Shahdara, New Delhi, as part of its ongoing expansion efforts. The new dealership, spanning 2,000 square feet, is located at Anubhuti Electric on Foota Road, Durga Puri. Operational since July, the store is strategically positioned in a high-traffic area, attracting around 5,000 people daily. Sokudo Electric aims to sell approximately 200 vehicles during the upcoming Diwali season, projecting this store will contribute 5-7% of the company's overall sales by the end of the fiscal year 2024-25.

Sokudo Electric’s decision to establish a presence in Delhi aligns with the city’s progressive electric vehicle (EV) policies, particularly its ambitious goal of having 25% of all vehicles sold in Delhi to be electric by 2024.

The store will showcase a range of Sokudo Electric’s models, including both RTO (Road Transport Office) and non-RTO two-wheelers. In addition to the scooters, the store will offer helmets and other essential riding accessories. Two technicians will be on-site to address any technical issues, ensuring customer concerns are dealt with efficiently. The company is also planning to establish a dedicated service station, which is expected to be operational within the next two months.

With the Diwali season approaching, the company hopes to capitalise on the festive demand and boost its sales figures.
