Czech carmaker Skoda Auto India, on Wednesday, opened the bookings for its Flagship SUV, the Kodiaq, at INR 50,000.
Interestingly for Q1CY23, the SUV sees a jump in price. The company noted that the vehicle is now offered at INR 37.49 lakh ex-showroom, India, for the Style variant, while the Sportline and the L&K variants have been priced at INR INR 38.49 lakh and 39.99 lakh, respectively.
The vehicle continues to derive its power from the 2.0 TSI engine mated to a 7-speed DSG, churning out 140kW (190ps) and 320Nm of torque.
It also gets Dynamic Chassis Control, a CANTON 12-speaker 625W surround sound system and a 20.32 cm infotainment touchscreen equipped with in-built navigation and full connectivity via the My Skoda Connect App.
Zac Hollis, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, noted that the product is a niche, luxury 4x4 offering. The company plans to announce phase-wise booking windows for the rest of the 2023 volumes, he added.
Interestingly, the carmaker managed to sell out the first lot of the SUV in 48 hours in January 2022.
