Simple Energy on Tuesday launched its maiden electric 2-wheeler, Simple ONE, at INR 1,45,000. This price shall also include a 750W charger.
Simple ONE has had over one lakh pre bookings in 18 months. With the official launch, the company plans to facilitate customer deliveries in a phased manner, starting with Bengaluru on June 6.
It will also focus on ramping up retail operations in the next 12 months and being present in 40-50 cities through a network of 160-180 retail stores.
Simple ONE will be equipped with fixed and removable (portable) batteries, delivering a range of 212 kms in IDC, making it the longest range E2W in India.

Early this year, the Bengaluru-based start-up, inaugurated its new manufacturing plant, Simple Vision 1.0, in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu, with an installed annual capacity of approximately five lakh units.
