Simple Energy has expanded its electric two-wheeler line-up with the launch of the Simple OneS, priced at INR 1,39,999 (ex-showroom). The new model boasts a IDC-certified range of 181 km, positioning itself as the longest-range electric scooter in its price category. The company has also announced the discontinuation of the Simple Dot One.
The Simple OneS features a top speed of 105 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.55 seconds when in Sonic mode, making it one of the quickest scooters in this segment. It is powered by an 8.5kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a 3.7 kWh fixed battery. With four riding modes—Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic—ensuring an optimal balance of efficiency and performance.
The scooter retains the aesthetic appeal of the discontinued Dot One but introduces several technological and functional enhancements. The inclusion of a 5G e-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity allows riders to handle phone calls via a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard. Additional smart features such as turn-by-turn navigation, app integration, Find My Vehicle, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a regenerative braking system enhance safety and usability. A new Park Assist function with forward and reverse movement aims to improve manoeuvrability in tight spaces.
Simple OneS is available in four colour variants—Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red—offering aesthetic variety to consumers. The vehicle also boasts 35 litres of underseat storage and a seat height of 770 mm, improving practicality and comfort. These features collectively set the OneS apart from its predecessor while reinforcing Simple Energy’s commitment to intelligent and sustainable mobility.
Alongside the launch of the OneS, Simple Energy also introduced the Simple One Gen 1.5 in February 2025. This model features an improved IDC range of 248 km, an increase from the 212 km offered by the previous Gen 1 variant.
