In collaboration with Marvel Heroes Unite, Shell has launched the Helix SP HX8 0W-20 BS6 compliant passenger car motor oils designed for modern turbocharged engines.
Specially designed for petrol direct injection engines to protect against damaging low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), the new engine oil has been formulated with Flexi Molecule Technology that continuously adapts to engine conditions.
Amit Ghugre, Automotive Sales and Marketing Manager, Shell Lubricants India, noted that the company expects the Helix SP HX8 0W-20 segment to become consumers' primary choice in the next few years, based on both OEM recommendations and a need for more fuel-efficient lubricants.
