Seino Holdings, Mahindra Logistics Announce Joint Venture To Enter Indian Market

This joint venture marks a significant step in enhancing the logistics infrastructure in India, ensuring seamless and efficient supply chain management for Japanese automotive and other strategic sectors.

Seino Holdings Co. Ltd., a leading Japanese logistics firm, has announced its entry into the Indian market through a strategic partnership with Mahindra Logistics Limited. This collaboration aims to offer integrated logistics solutions, leveraging Seino's global relationships with Japanese automotive customers to meet their logistics needs in India.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will form a joint venture (JV) owned by Mahindra Logistics and Seino Holdings. The JV will focus on providing integrated logistics solutions to Japanese automotive and strategic non-automotive customers. Services will include auto outbound logistics, warehousing and transportation, and a comprehensive technology suite. By utilising Mahindra Logistics' extensive capabilities and robust network, Seino Holdings aims to deliver optimised logistics solutions across India, emphasising technology, process innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability.

The Indian automotive industry has experienced substantial growth, becoming the third-largest automotive market globally. With a strategic focus on electric vehicles and initiatives like 'Make in India,' the industry is poised for continued expansion, especially among Japan-based OEMs and auto component manufacturers.
