Triumph Motorcycles and Bajaj Auto have launched the Scrambler 400 X at INR 262,996 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Designed to be a versatile and fun-to-ride motorcycle, it is meant for both urban and off-road use.
According to a press release, Triumph will expand its dealership network to more than 100 cities by April 2024. Over 25 exclusive accessories will allow owners to customise their bikes. The Scrambler 400 X can be booked online on Triumph’s official website by paying a refundable token amount of INR 10,000.
It has been designed to combine the versatility of a road bike with the off-road capabilities of a dirt version. The bike can handle challenging terrains like broken roads and soft trails with relative ease due to its rugged frame, long travel suspension and high ground clearance.
The Scrambler 400 X is powered by a 398cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected TR-series engine that produces 39.4 bhp of maximum power and 37.5 Nm of peak torque. The wet weight of 185 kg will aid handling and offer an enhanced power-to-weight ratio.
Scrambler 400 X has a 16,000 km service interval and comes with five-year warranty built in at zero cost. Triumph is also offering 24x7 road-side assistance at INR 500.
