Scania India has inaugurated its state-of-the-art Training Centre in collaboration with its dealer PPS Motors in Chandrapur. Featuring high-tech driver training simulators, it offers a realistic and immersive learning environment, enabling trainees to master advanced vehicle operations, optimize fuel efficiency, and improve driving safety. Additionally, the centre integrates cutting-edge technology for the mining sector, supported by a team of two Technical Trainers and one Driver Trainer.

At the inauguration, Munhoz Silvio, Managing Director of Scania India, emphasised the importance of the initiative, stating, “With this new training centre, we are taking a significant step toward empowering Indian industry by bridging the gap between advanced technology and operational expertise. By equipping engineers, technicians, and drivers with the skills they need, we aim to help our customers enhance safety, boost productivity, and achieve sustainable growth in their operations.”

This facility addresses the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the mining segment, playing a crucial role in improving operational efficiency, safety, and productivity. Through this initiative, Scania supports industries with the expertise and resources required to navigate modern challenges and achieve operational excellence.
