SANY India has introduced the country’s first locally manufactured diesel-electric hybrid 100-tonne mining dump truck, the SKT130S, reinforcing its position as a leader in heavy machinery innovation. The unveiling of the SKT130S took place at SANY’s manufacturing facility in Pune and marks a significant development in India's mining and equipment manufacturing landscape.
The SKT130S is designed to handle tough terrains and heavy-duty tasks with a rated engine power of 925 kW and a peak torque output of 3200 Nm. With a payload capacity of 100 tonnes and a heaped body volume of 61 cubic metres, the vehicle is tailored for large-scale mining operations. It also offers a substantial operational advantage with a fuel saving of approximately 20 to 25 percent when compared to traditional diesel-only trucks.

It also highlights our support for the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative by ensuring more components are sourced and produced within India.”
The truck also places strong emphasis on operator safety and user experience. The cabin is fitted with globally recognised FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) certifications. It also includes a 10-inch central control screen and an intelligent control module to ensure streamlined operation and enhanced safety.
