Royal Enfield has launched the new Guerrilla 450 at Rs 2.39 lakh, ex-showroom. That is the price of the base variant, which is called Analouge. The mid-spec, Dash variant costs Rs 2.49 lakh, ex-showroom while the Flash variant will set you back by Rs 2.54 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Guerrilla 450 is based on the Himalayan 450’s platform and is powered by the same 452cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 39.50bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The design of the bike has a typical modern-retro language, seen in the round LED headlight, teardrop shaped fuel tank and the slim tail section. The company has introduced quite a bold set of colours on the Guerrilla 450, something that we’ve never seen before on their other motorcycles.

Under the bodywork, you’ve got a steel tubular frame that uses the engine as a stressed member. The frame is suspended by a 43mm telescopic fork with 140m travel and a preload adjustable monoshock with 150mm wheel travel. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels with a 120-section tyre at the front and a fat, 160-section tyre at the rear.

As for the features, the top variant gets the Himalayan’s colour, TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Google based navigation. It gets the same ride modes as well. The base variant, on the other hand, has a analouge-digital instrument cluster with an optional Tripper navigation pod.
