Renault India has announced the commencement of deliveries for its BS6 stage 2 cars priced between INR 8.47 lakh and INR 8.12 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The Kiger has a 1.0L turbo petrol unit with both the MT & X-Tronic CVT transmission options in the RXT(O) variant. Besides, the SUV and the Triber get the option for the 1.0L Energy Engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission or an EASY-R five-speed AMT transmission.
A press release from the company noted that both the vehicles come with innovative and advanced safety features as part of the Human First Programme, such as an electronic stability programme for enhanced control on curvy roads, hill start assist, traction control system and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Recently the French carmaker surpassed the nine lakh sales mark in India since it started sales in 2011. The company has over 450 sales outlets and 530 service touchpoints and offers three products in the market- Kwid, Triber and Kiger.
