Renault India has announced the availability of government-approved CNG retrofitment kits for its entire model lineup, including the Kiger, Triber, and Kwid. This initiative not only expands Renault’s reach to a new customer base but also reaffirms its commitment to eco-friendly and fuel-efficient mobility solutions.
Renault ensures peace of mind for customers, offering a three-year warranty on all CNG retrofitment vehicles. The kits, installed through Renault’s preferred vendor network, comply with homologation safety and performance standards, guaranteeing uniformity and reliability across the fleet.

Phased Rollout & Market Expansion
Initially, Renault will introduce CNG kits in five key states—Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, and Maharashtra—covering 65% of the market. The nationwide rollout will follow in the coming months, ensuring availability across the entire dealer network.
The CNG kits will be compatible with all variants, except automatic and turbocharged models, ensuring driving performance remains uncompromised. With this move, Renault continues to enhance its feature-rich, practical vehicle lineup, further solidifying its position in the SUV and MPV segments.
By embracing CNG technology, Renault is taking a significant step toward sustainability, offering cost-effective and eco-friendly mobility while catering to the growing demand for alternative fuel vehicles in India.
