Red Bull KTM Strengthens With Marelli mobility outlook

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has solidified its partnership with Marelli Motorsport to intensify their efforts in the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP). Marelli will provide crucial electronic systems and data management support to KTM’s factory racing team as they target success in the MXGP and MX2 classes. This latest collaboration marks a significant step forward for both companies as they look to replicate the dominance Red Bull KTM Factory Racing achieved in the 2023 Dakar Rally.

With over 100 years of experience in motorsports, Marelli Motorsport brings cutting-edge solutions in hardware and software, developed through its extensive racing history. As part of their collaboration, Marelli will work closely with KTM's R&D team on the KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F machinery, ensuring that the bikes benefit from the latest technological advancements.

Robert Jonas, Vice President of Offroad Racing at KTM, stated “We’re really happy to bring Marelli Motorsport even closer to our KTM Motorsport program. Their innovation and development expertise is critical as we push our racing projects to the highest level. It’s a great step forward for our motocross ambitions.”

This strengthened partnership not only enhances Red Bull KTM’s chances in the MXGP but also allows Marelli Motorsport to expand its influence in the off-road racing arena, showcasing their expertise across a broader spectrum of motorsport disciplines.
