Rapido has announced a strategic partnership with TotalEnergies Marketing India Private Limited (TEMIPL) to enhance the earnings and overall well-being of its auto captains. This collaboration is set to deliver immediate benefits, including fuel savings of up to 12%, and will promote the adoption of Auto LPG as a cleaner and more sustainable fuel option in six major South Indian cities.
The partnership marks an important milestone in Rapido's ongoing efforts to create a more sustainable and driver-centric ecosystem within the ride-sharing industry. The initiative not only offers immediate fuel cost reductions but also introduces a host of additional benefits aimed at improving the daily lives of auto captains. These include vehicle maintenance services such as oil top-ups, brake checkups, and regular servicing support like wheel alignments. Moreover, auto captains will gain access to exclusive loyalty programs and other value-added services designed to enhance their work experience and earnings.
This initiative is expected to benefit over 4 lakh auto captains operating across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mysore, and Salem. By leveraging Rapido’s deep understanding of the ride-sharing industry alongside TEMIPL’s expertise in energy solutions, the partnership aims to redefine the standards of driver welfare, safety, and sustainability within the sector.
