RACEnergy has announced its partnership with Hala Mobility to deploy a fleet of 2,000 electric two-wheelers in a phased manner, with the first phase starting July 2023.
The fleet, integrated with the company's state-of-the-art battery-swapping technology, will be utilised for delivery services across India.
Srikanth Reddy, Founder and CEO, Hala Mobility, said, “With RACE's impressive advancements, such as their lightning-fast 4-second swapping time and an extensive network of swap points, users are provided with a better vehicle range. We are confident that we will be able to make electric vehicles not only accessible but also convenient for all to use.”
Notably, this is RACEnergy’s first venture into the e2W business. Prior to this, the company catered to the e3Ws. Earlier in an interaction with Mobility Outlook, Arun Sreyas, Co-founder and CEO of RACEnergy, noted that the company would primarily partner with E2W players in the B2B and last-mile logistics space.
“We have already established a strong presence in Telangana's e-auto market. By joining forces with Hala, we are confident that we will penetrate the electric two-wheeler market and reach an even broader user base,” Sreyas added.
