Kusalava group backed Quantum Energy announced that it has signed an MoU with MBI Korea to bring advanced technology into India in high-speed scooters.
Alongside the announcement, it also showcased four of its upcoming e2Ws: Plasma, Elektron, Milan and Bziness.
Powering the Plasme is a 1,500w motor with a claimed top speed of 60 kmph and a range of 110 km -130 km on a single charge.
Meanwhile, the Elektron and the Milan feature a 1,000W motor while the Bziness comes with a 1,200W motor power. These e2Ws are claimed to touch their top speed of 50km/h with a range of 80-100kms in different riding modes.
It must be noted that the company plans to commence commercial sales from October 2022 onwards and has its R&D centre in Bengaluru with the manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, a press release from the company said.
Chakravarthi Chukkapalli, Director, Quantum Energy, said that the company’s focus has been on building high-quality products at affordable prices in the Indian market. The scooters have been rigorously tested and validated for Indian road conditions, he added.
