PURE has unveiled PuREPower, a range of energy storage systems (ESS) designed to meet the growing demand for reliable and scalable clean energy solutions.
The PuREPower lineup, comprising PuREPower Home, PuREPower Commercial, and the upcoming PuREPower Grid, aims to play a transformative role in India’s journey toward decarbonization and energy independence.
Addressing a wide spectrum of use cases—from residential solar storage to commercial power management and grid-scale energy balancing—the PuREPower product suite integrates advanced battery technology, power electronics, AI-based controls, and solar management systems into a unified platform. The launch reinforces PURE’s commitment to Design and Make in India, setting a new benchmark for energy storage innovation in the country.
Dr Nishanth Dongari, Founder and Managing Director of PURE, said, “PuREPower is more than a product—it’s a mission-aligned tool to accelerate India’s clean energy goals. By powering homes, businesses, and the grid, we’re enabling smarter, sustainable energy consumption.”
Rohit Vadera, Co-Founder and CEO of PURE, added, “PuREPower supports the government’s vision for renewable energy and energy storage integration. It’s about empowering individuals and enterprises alike to embrace sustainable energy with intelligent, future-ready technology.”
Starting at INR 74,999 (ex-factory), PuREPower Home is engineered for modern Indian households. Available in 3 KVA, 5 KVA, and 15 KVA capacities, the system supports high-surge appliances like air conditioners, geysers, and kitchen equipment. It seamlessly integrates with rooftop solar systems and offers 24/7 power backup, app-enabled monitoring, and an AI-based predictive lifecycle exceeding 10 years. With sleek aesthetics and maintenance-free performance, PuREPower Home brings cost-efficient, green energy to everyday life.
PuREPower Commercial
For enterprises, PuREPower Commercial delivers storage capacities from 25 KVA to 100 KVA, tailored for applications in offices, hospitals, telecom towers, and retail centres. These systems optimise renewable energy usage, reduce reliance on diesel generators, and support peak load management, centralized ACs, elevators, and EV charging infrastructure. The modular design ensures the system can scale with evolving business needs, offering both efficiency and flexibility.
PuREPower Grid
Set for launch in calendar year 2026, PuREPower Grid is its bold step into large-scale energy storage, targeting state utilities, industrial users, microgrids, and renewable energy parks. Offered in containerized units of up to 4 MWh, the system is built to support frequency regulation, transmission loss reduction, and grid reliability, making it an essential tool as India’s energy grid adapts to the surge in solar and wind capacity.
With India’s renewable energy capacity projected to surpass 500 GW by 2030, storage solutions like PuREPower are crucial for balancing energy supply and demand, ensuring grid stability, and reducing dependency on fossil fuels.
The company plans to scale PuREPower’s presence rapidly, with 300+ touchpoints across India expected in the next 18 months. Its dealer/distributor network will offer comprehensive technical and commercial support, promoting not only widespread adoption but also local entrepreneurship in the clean energy sector.
