PURE EV has achieved a milestone in energy efficiency and sustainability by integrating a 500 KWh Energy Storage Solution (ESS) and a 125 KW solar system with DG and grid infrastructure at its Telangana facility.

The solar installation enables the company to harness renewable energy to power its operations, significantly lowering grid electricity consumption. The seamless integration of 500 KWh ESS—composed entirely of refurbished batteries repurposed from customer exchanges—with solar, grid, and DG systems has further cut fuel costs and slashed peak load KVA charges by 50%, driving operational efficiency and sustainability.

Dr Nishanth Dongari, Founder and Managing Director of PURE EV, said, “By harnessing the power of solar energy in combination with cutting-edge energy storage technology, we are making powerful strides towards a more sustainable future. This approach not only reduces our reliance on non-renewable resources but also enhances our operational efficiency, ensuring that we are driving both environmental and economic benefits.”

PURE EV’s innovative use of refurbished batteries not only promotes a circular economy in EV batteries but also strengthens its sustainability initiatives. Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its renewable energy efforts by adding an additional 125 KW solar system and a further 500 KWh ESS over the next two years.
