PSG Science & Technology Entrepreneurial Park (PSG-STEP), a prominent technology incubator backed by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ansys Software Private Limited, a global leader in engineering simulation software.

The collaboration aims to provide startups and MSMEs with access to advanced simulation solutions, empowering early-stage technology ventures in India.

Mike Yeager, Area Vice President for India and Japan at Ansys, said, 'Ansys is dedicated to working with the ecosystem to accelerate the Make in India vision. Our collaboration with PSG-STEP will support Indian innovators in bringing their ideas to market more efficiently and cost-effectively.'

Murali Pullela, Director of Sales at Ansys, highlighting the importance of the partnership, stated that the Ansys Simulation Center of Excellence will empower entrepreneurs to speed up product development and reduce costs, strengthening India’s growing technology ecosystem.'

Dr K Prakasan, Principal of PSG College of Technology and Vice Chairman of PSG-STEP, called the collaboration a 'game-changer' for startups and MSMEs incubated at PSG-STEP. 'This partnership will play a key role in fostering innovation and supporting the growth of India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem,' he added.
