Pioneer India has appointed Aniket Kulkarni as its new Managing Director, reporting directly to Shiro Yahara, President & Group CEO of Pioneer Corporation, Japan.
Kulkarni, who joined Pioneer in December 2023, brings 20 years of experience in automotive OEM sales and business development, having held senior positions at Premium Sound Solutions, Harman, and Cerence. He succeeds Ken Takagi, who will continue to support Kulkarni as they drive Pioneer's growth in India.
Kulkarni emphasised his focus on introducing products tailored to the unique demands of the Indian market, leveraging the company’s reputation for quality and innovation. His appointment follows its recent expansion of its R&D footprint in India, reflecting the company's commitment to the region's market potential.
