Seating, interiors and speciality vehicles company Pinnacle Industries announced that it has delivered 226 Basic Life Support Ambulances, as a part of the larger order to supply 466 ambulances to the Department of Health, Bihar Government.
According to a press release from the company, these ambulances, designed and developed by the company, enable and provide the necessary medical support to the patients during emergency transit, particularly to the patients living in the tribal, rural and urban geographies of Bihar.
These vehicles are equipped with an efficient oxygen delivery system, portable air-way care system (PACS), delivery of IV infusion solutions, regular diagnosis, and patient handling equipment, among other amenities to provide primary and emergency healthcare and treatment to the patients in transit.
The vehicles were flagged off by Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister, Bihar, along with Tarkishore Prasad, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Bihar, and Mangal Pandey, Health Minister, Government of Bihar.
Arihant Mehta, President, Pinnacle Industries, noted that the healthcare infrastructure in India is rapidly evolving, and medical transportation is becoming a key part of healthcare innovation.
