Piaggio Vehicles, the 100 % subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio Group, said that the company has become the market leader in the e3W cargo segment, creating a new benchmark.
In February 2021, Piaggio launched its FX range of e3W in cargo and passenger segments and has now gained 55% of the cargo electric three-wheeler market. According to a press release issued by the company, the OEM is the market leader in the L5N e3W cargo segment in H1FY22.
Piaggio has been the most preferred choice amongst the top fleet operators in the country like, MoEVing, Amplus, City Link, which is a step forward towards providing easy, cost-effective, and eco-friendly last-mile transportation. Further, to offer end-to-end green mobility solutions, the vehicle maker has also forged strategic collaborations with SUN Mobility and Reliance BP Mobility (JioBP) to offer complete electric mobility solutions and infrastructure in the country, the company said.
