Piaggio Vehicles, a 100 % subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio Group and India’s leading manufacturer of small commercial vehicles, displayed its e3W Ape’ Electrik range at Gurugram’s new EV Zone.
Piaggio was one of the few automakers who could display their Electric vehicles at the zone, which was flagged off by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar.
Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director, Piaggio Vehicles, said the new EV Zone will encourage the growth of the EV ecosystem and accelerate the transition to electric vehicles in Haryana. “We are confident that our EV product range will help realise the vision laid by the Haryana government as part of the Parivartan project,” he added.
Piaggio has a widespread network of EV exclusive showrooms throughout the country, of which E-Next Mobilityis its authorised dealer partner in Gurugram.
Piaggio’s Ape’ electrik range distinguishes itself from the cheaper E-rickshaws, which are slow in speed, have a marginal driving range and are unsafe from a built point of view with almost no after-sales support. On the other hand, the Ape’ Electric range comes with a strong and durable body coupled with an improved range and higher speed. Thus the L5M category E-Autos are an apt substitute for the diesel autos running currently, a press release from the company said.
The vehicles are covered with a three year/one lakh kilometre warranty. In addition, as an introductory offer, it gives a three-year free maintenance package to all the customers.
