Park+ has launched Park+ Research Labs, a data-driven service designed to provide actionable insights to stakeholders in the Indian automobile ecosystem. New platform aims to bridge the gap between car owners and industry stakeholders through in-depth consumer feedback. By facilitating this channel of communication, Park+ Research Labs seeks to identify and address key gaps in the market, enabling industry stakeholders to unlock significant business value.
Park+ hosts India’s largest community of verified car users, with over 2 crore members, meaning that roughly every third car on Indian roads is now registered on the Park+ app. This vast user base offers a unique opportunity for the platform to gather extensive data on car ownership patterns and customer behaviour. In addition to its research initiatives, Park+ plays an integral role in the car ownership journey by offering daily car washing services, digital test drive bookings, FASTag purchase and recharge, second-hand car sales and purchases, car loans, parking spot reservations, and discounted petrol. This comprehensive involvement places Park+ at the core of the car ownership ecosystem, seamlessly connecting car owners with essential services.
Park+ Research Labs aims to capitalise on this robust community, providing a valuable resource for OEMs, dealers, service centres, and ancillary services to gain a deeper understanding of Indian car buyers. The platform will blend data, user insights, and customer feedback to offer detailed and authentic engagement for stakeholders. A key component of Park+ Research Labs will be its digital-first surveys, which will allow clients to explore car ownership patterns, real-world feedback, and buying decision processes. These surveys are designed to offer a deep dive into the minds of car owners, delivering data that can drive strategic decision-making.
Amit Lakhotia, Founder and CEO of Park+, stated “We today host India's largest community of verified car users and want to ensure that the Indian automobile stakeholders receive authentic data-driven insights from genuine car owners.' He emphasised that Park+ Research Labs is designed to empower OEMs, dealers, service centres, and ancillary services by offering a sophisticated tool to decode the complexities of car ownership and consumer behaviour in India. Lakhotia believes this initiative will redefine how the Indian automotive industry approaches consumer research, setting a new standard for innovation and precision in understanding market dynamics.
