Revamp Moto has announced Panache as its contract manufacturer for EVs. Through this alliance, Panache will make its foray into the Indian EV market and will assemble made-in-India EVs at its facility in Bhiwandi, Mumbai.
Revamp Moto will work on new product development, Research and Development, new technologies, and generating IPs, while Panache will focus on quality, product assembly, process optimisation, and indigenisation of components.
This new association will see the E2W company showcase a concept of modularity in EVs, noted Jayesh Tope, Co-founder and Managing Director, Revamp Moto.
'With a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year, this partnership with Panache will enable us to fast pace the delivery of our vehicles to customers. We are confident about Panache’s manufacturing competence and this strategic move will help us focus on indigenously designing better products for India and the world,' he said.
Amit Rambhia, Chairman and Managing Director, Panache Digilife Ltd, added, “With this association, Panache makes its entry into the world of electric mobility and also advances our expertise in providing contract manufacturing solutions.”
