OPG Mobility has announced a price reduction across its Ferrato electric scooter range in India as the company chases more sales numbers. In its second phase of rebranding, OPG Mobility has introduced price cuts across most models in the Ferrato range, except for MotoFaast and Faast F3. Among the scooters benefiting from the price drop, the Ferrato FAAST F4 sees a reduction from INR 1,18,999 to INR 1,09,999 (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
The FAAST F4’s INR 9,000 reduction is one of the most significant price benefits introduced by the company. Other models such as the Ferrato FREEDUM LI, initially priced at INR 75,899, have been lowered to INR 69,999, while the Ferrato FREEDUM LA is now priced at INR 49,999, previously INR 55,650.
The premium model Ferrato Disruptor also received a price reduction, now offered at a discounted ex-showroom price of INR 1,59,999. This direct transfer of cost savings from suppliers to consumers is aimed at making electric scooters more affordable and attractive to buyers.
Anshul Gupta, Managing Director, OPG Mobility, emphasised that the price reductions were possible due to improved efficiencies and favourable negotiations with suppliers, allowing significant savings to be passed onto customers directly.
