One Electric has announced the launch of four new electric motorcycles, including the budget-friendly Kridn X. The company has used real-world data from 2,000 vehicles across India and Africa to fine-tune its latest offerings.

The highlight of the launch is the Kridn X, which will be available in two variants, one with a 100 km range priced under INR 1 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom) and another with a 200 km range priced at INR 1.3 lakh. Designed for urban commuters and last-mile delivery operations, the Kridn X is expected to offer an alternative to petrol-powered motorcycles in the 100cc–150cc segment.

In addition to the Kridn X, One Electric has introduced three other models—Kridn X+, Kridn Sport, and Kridn XR—each catering to different user needs. The Kridn X+ is a premium version of the base model, featuring alloy wheels, CBS disc brakes, and additional colour options at a slightly higher price. The Kridn Sport, with a 6 kW peak power motor and a top speed of 90 kmph, targets riders looking for speed and agility. This model is also aimed at the growing electric motorcycle market in South America. The Kridn XR is a hybrid of a scooter and motorcycle, designed with 17-inch wheels to ensure stability and comfort for daily commuters and delivery riders. It is intended for markets in both India and Southeast Asia.

One Electric has emphasised that all designs for its new models are patented and developed with a focus on long-term durability. The initial launch of these models will take place in Delhi NCR, followed by an expansion into Pune and other major cities across India. The company is strategically positioning itself to capitalise on government policies promoting EV adoption, particularly in states with aggressive conversion targets for two-wheelers.

The company expects its new portfolio to gain significant traction in the mid-power electric motorcycle segment, competing directly with traditional 100cc–150cc petrol bikes. Bookings for the Kridn X will open on 28th April 2025, marking the next phase in One Electric’s expansion in the country’s fast-growing electric mobility sector.
