Omega Seiki sources battery from Forsee Power

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), part of Anglian Omega Group, has established a strategic partnership with Forsee Power to source Lithium-ion batteries technology for its range of electric vehicles (EVs).

According to OSM, its commercial EVs, equipped with 48V, 10 kWh Forsee Power GO 10 Li-Ion battery system, will give an enhanced battery range of 120 Kms when fully charged.  

Forsee Power develops innovative solutions with the latest and robust battery cells and battery management systems that integrate high-performance electronics, accurate voltage readings and efficient communication systems.

Uday Narang, Chairman, OMS, said today many buyers are struggling with range anxiety. The company identified the issue and partnered with Foresee Power to enhance the range of its EVs. 

“We are very pleased to start this collaboration with Omega Seiki Mobility that illustrates very well the reason we established in Pune in 2020, to support the electrification of mobility in India with a FAME 2-compliant industrial base. 

Durga Akhnoor, CEO, Forsee Power India, said the company is a battery systems leader on the light and heavy vehicles market, and it offers a complete range of durable portable and onboard battery systems for two and three-wheelers. 

 In May 2021, Forsee Power began the production in series of batteries for EVs. This is a significant step for the Group that entered the Indian market in 2020.
