Omega Seiki Pvt Ltd (OSPL) unveiled the M1KA 1.0 electric truck at the Bharat Mobility 2025 exhibition. Priced at INR 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), this vehicle is aimed at supporting the commercial vehicle market with its affordability and durability. Alongside the M1KA 1.0, OSPL also introduced the advanced M1KA 3.0 and an upgraded version of its electric passenger vehicle, the 2025 Stream City.
The M1KA 1.0 electric truck is designed to meet the needs of businesses seeking sustainable and cost-effective transportation solutions. It features a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that delivers a peak power of 13 kW and a torque of 67 Nm, making it suitable for heavy-duty applications. It comes with battery options of 10.24 kWh, 15 kWh, and 21 kWh, providing a range of 90, 120, and 170 km per charge respectively. Charging times range from 15 minutes to 2 hours, and the vehicle includes fast-charging capabilities. With a payload capacity of 850 kg, the M1KA 1.0 is ideal for last-mile connectivity and urban logistics.
OSPL also showcased the M1KA 3.0, an upgraded model featuring a 60 kWh battery, a peak power of 150 kW, and a torque of 290 Nm. This truck offers a range of 150 km per charge and a higher payload capacity of 4,000 kg. Its advanced features include a ground clearance of 220 mm, enhanced dimensions, and a CCS2 fast-charging system. Both M1KA models come with a 5-year or 1.5 lakh km warranty and employ Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology for durability and safety.
OSPL further expanded its offerings with the All New 2025 Stream City, an electric passenger vehicle featuring updated technology such as an onboard charger, IoT connectivity, and battery-swapping options. The vehicle is equipped with a fast-charging battery capable of charging in just 20 minutes and offers improved efficiency and cutting-edge features, making it a strong alternative to traditional petrol-powered cars.
