With over 200 outlets already operational across all major cities, the company is looking to augment its D2C capabilities. As per Anshul Khandelwal, CMO, Ola Electric, 80% of the company’s customers live within a 20 km radius of an experience centre.
To provide all services under one roof, these outlets allow EV enthusiasts to experience the company's EV technology and gather information regarding the vehicles. They also enable customers to avail of test rides of the S1 and S1 Pro, seek assistance in purchasing from brand champions, get details on financing options and culminate into their purchase journey on the app.
Khandelwal said that ]the rapid proliferation of these centres in Tier-3 and Tier-4 cities will help the company realise the true potential of India’s ever-growing EV market.
These experience centres also double up as one-stop destinations for all the post-sales care and maintenance of the scooters. The company has recently expanded its S1 portfolio to six models.
