Ola Electric is all set to unveil its first electric motorcycle on 15 August. The company is also likely to announce the price of the motorcycle on that day. The Ola electric motorcycle has been a long time coming. This will be the first of possibly four new electric motorcycles that are expected to hit the market over the next few years.

The teaser doesn’t reveal much, except for the LED projector headlights, the LED DRL and what appears to be a windscreen atop the headlight cluster. One can also notice the “tank’ shrouds and the position of the handlebar. It suggests that the EV is a street naked motorcycle with an upright riding position.

This could also be a fully loaded model, as in the bike with the biggest battery, largest range and most powerful electric motor. This should be done to help establish the new electric motorcycle portfolio. More watered down models, similar to the approach that Ola took by launching the Ola S1 Pro, followed by the lower-spec models, is what we expect to see in the future.
