Odysse Electric is set to expand its operations to over 150 cities by the second quarter of the 2024 financial year, marking a push towards the wider adoption of its products across India. The expansion, which began on 15th August 2024, will see Odysse Electric increasing its footprint across 17 states, including new entries into Haryana and Punjab, as well as bolstering its presence in existing markets like Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, among others.
As part of this effort, Odysse Electric has established new dealerships in key locations such as Behlangir in Odisha, Virar in Maharashtra, Bhuj in Gujarat, Bangalore in Karnataka, and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. These dealerships will offer the complete range of Odysse Electric’s models, including both low-speed and high-speed variants, thereby catering to the diverse needs of customers in these regions.
Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse Electric, stated 'By expanding our presence to over 150 cities in this quarter, we are taking a significant step towards realising this vision. This strategic expansion will allow us to serve a wider audience, meet the growing demand for electric vehicles, and contribute to a sustainable future for India.'
This expansion comes at a pivotal time when the demand for electric vehicles in India is on the rise, driven by supportive government policies, increased environmental awareness, and the rising costs of conventional fuels.
