The Oben Rorr electric motorcycle has received a Rs 25,000 discount. Following the discount, the bike is now available at Rs 1.25 lakh, ex-showroom. This discount is part of the company’s ‘Freedom Offer’ to commemorate India’s Independence Day. The offer is valid till 15 August.
The Oben Rorr is among the handful of electric motorcycles in India. It has an 8kW electric motor which is powered by a 4.4kWh battery. It offers a claimed range of 187km. Oben says that the Rorr can hit a top speed of 100kmph.
In terms of features, the bike gets LED illumination, a digital screen, three ride modes, and a USB charging port.
The feedback on the bike has been pretty mixed. While the battery range is decent and so is the build quality, there is scope for improvement in terms of build quality and consistency in performance.
