NSRCEL, the startup hub at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has launched the fourth cohort of its Incubation Program for Mobility Startups.

This six-month programme targets startups that are in the proof-of-concept and revenue stages, offering tailored support to help transform their innovations into successful businesses. Selected startups will receive incubation support from NSRCEL and the opportunity to conduct a paid proof of concept (POC) with Maruti Suzuki, allowing them to test their solutions in real-world environments. Participants will also have the chance to explore the Japanese market, providing pathways for international partnerships and expansion.

The programme focuses on fostering innovations in areas such as green manufacturing, mobility infrastructure, vehicle technology, data and AI, clean technology, and digital transformation and Industry 4.0. The overarching goal is to bring cutting-edge technologies to market that address evolving customer demands.

Anand Sri Ganesh, CEO of NSRCEL, said, 'Our partnership with Maruti Suzuki is set to drive transformative innovation in the mobility sector. We are pleased to announce the launch of the fourth cohort following the success of the previous three, which showcased outstanding startups developing innovative solutions. We eagerly anticipate the new ideas this cohort will bring to the ecosystem.'

Startups participating in the programme will benefit from personalised guidance, workshops, and learning opportunities designed to accelerate business growth. Additionally, they will have access to domain experts from Maruti Suzuki, resources from IIM Bangalore, and connections with investors in the mobility sector.
