Norton Motorcycles, a renowned manufacturer of premium hand-crafted motorcycles and a subsidiary of TVS Motor, has announced that Dr Robert Hentschel is stepping down from his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He will transition to a non-executive director role within the company.
Since joining Norton in 2021, Dr Hentschel has played a crucial role in stabilising and strengthening the brand. Under his leadership, Norton has built a robust operational base and forged a strong partnership with parent company TVS Motor, setting the stage for future growth.
In line with Norton’s evolving strategy, the company is implementing a new leadership structure. Nevijo Mance joins as Executive Director, tasked with overseeing all upstream business operations. His role will cover product design, development and engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality control, and supply chain management. Mance’s focus on maintaining Norton’s craftsmanship and quality will be key to delivering world-class motorcycles that resonate with Norton’s legacy of excellence.
Richard Arnold, who was appointed as Executive Director in June 2024, will lead downstream business operations. His responsibilities include marketing, brand management, sales, distribution, customer relationship management, after-sales service, and public relations. Arnold will concentrate on enhancing customer experience, expanding Norton’s global reach, and fortifying the brand’s presence in international markets.
With this refined leadership structure, Norton Motorcycles is poised to continue its journey toward becoming a premier global brand in the premium motorcycle market, committed to delivering quality, innovation, and exceptional customer experience for motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide.
