Norton Motorcycle Unveils Plans For Global Expansion mobility outlook

Norton Motorcycles, now a part of the TVS Motor Company Group, has announced a bold new phase of international expansion during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The event served as a platform for senior leadership, including Sudarshan Venu, Dr Robert Hentschel, and Richard Arnold, to outline Norton's vision and upcoming global growth strategies.

Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, stated 'Our vision, commitment, and investment into the Norton brand are entering an exciting phase. We look forward to sharing that with motorcyclists across the world'.

Key to this resurgence is the introduction of six new motorcycle models over the next three years. These models, crafted under the philosophy of ‘Design, Dynamism, and Detail,’ are set to invigorate the market, with the first launches scheduled for next year. Norton’s expansion will initially focus on key markets such as the USA, Germany, France, Italy, and India, promising increased sales through strategic partnerships in these regions.

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the leadership team provided insights into Norton's strategic direction and the substantial investments being made. Dr Robert Hentschel, Chief Executive Officer of Norton Motorcycles, delved into the development and engineering efforts behind Norton's current and future models. The support and investment from TVS Motor have revitalised Norton's research and development capabilities, evident in the state-of-the-art facility in Solihull. One notable highlight is the One of One V4SV, inspired by Steve Hislop’s iconic ‘White Charger,’ which captivated audiences at the festival.

'The investment in research and development and leadership has us positioned to take six exciting products to countries across the world, with world-class quality and scale, spelling another epoch of success in the Norton story,' said Dr Hentschel. 'Our focus on design, drivability, and details will maximise the exciting opportunity for Norton and for new customers choosing our motorcycles.'
