Pune-based IT firm Vritti Solutions has developed an AI-based automated leave and attendance management app for the Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT). It will be responsible for recording, managing and tracking leaves and attendance for 3,000 employees of NMMT.
Sujata Dhole, Additional Municipal Commissioner, launched the app, during the 27 foundation day of NMMT on January 23, 2023, at Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
The app enables meeting leave-related statutory compliances for employers, payroll processing, and provides information on leave policies to the employees. The app is suitable for both the iOS and Android operating systems.
Sunil Salunkhe, Head of Integrated Transportation Management System (ITMS), NMMT, said, “The App promises to resolve the mismanagement of leaves and attendance and thus promote a happier work culture.”
There will be an automatic alert regarding the renewal of the conductor license. In addition, any important message from the department to their staff will show up as a notification.
Veerendra Jamdade, Chief Executive Officer & Senior Entrepreneur, Vritti Solutions, added, “The app drives analytics and helps in bringing out a data-based report generation. All these factors help in making informed real-time decisions.”
Tracked from a dashboard, the App helps digitally monitor employees’ leave status, giving an eagle’s eye view of employees present to HR and deciding whether to approve or reject the leaves applied.
Jamdade added, “It minimises errors that stem out of manual styles of maintaining leave records such as through e-mails and Excel sheets and can be synchronised with the existing system with NMMT.”
