The sub-four-metre SUV segment is already heavily competitive, with a range of OEMs offerings such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, and Renault Kiger to name a few. To keep interest and sales numbers high, automakers have been dishing out updates for these cars at regular intervals.
While the Mahindra XUV300 is set to receive an update in the near future, Nissan India has also joined the bandwagon by starting work on the Magnite facelift. In terms of design, we expect refreshed front and rear bumpers, tweaked lighting at either end, and a fresh set of alloy wheels.
In the features department, the set will be enhanced with the likes of semi-leatherette seats and steering wheel, auto-dimming IRVM, LED cabin lamps, and automatic climate control. Apart from the updated Magnite, Nissan is also working on other products as the former is the only product it currently sells in India. The sub-four-metre SUV will be joined by the X-Trail, Renault Triber-based MPV, and another SUV in the future.
