Nissan Inaugurates National Training Centre To Enhance Customer Service Standards

With the capacity to train over 1,000 technicians annually, the Nissan Academy aims to strengthen the brand’s dealership network and elevate service standards.

Nissan Motor India (NMIPL) has launched its first National Training Centre, the Nissan Academy, at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai. Designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of dealership and service staff, the facility underscores Nissan’s commitment to delivering superior customer experiences across its pan-India network.

Inaugurated by Frank Torres, Divisional Vice President, AMIEO Region Business Transformation, and President, Nissan India Operations, the 10,500-square-foot training centre offers state-of-the-art resources for hands-on learning in vehicle repair, diagnostics, and body shop services. The academy features an advanced mechanical workshop and an upgraded body shop, both equipped to provide training in various repair and maintenance techniques.

Speaking at the launch, Frank Torres said, “The opening of Nissan Academy in Chennai marks a significant step in our commitment to delivering innovation and excellence in customer service to Indian customers. By investing in the development of our dealership teams, we aim to ensure that our customers receive unmatched service quality and experience.”
