Nippon Paint, the leading paint and coating company in the Asia Pacific region, has unveiled its debutante consumer-focused automotive body and paint repair service brand - Mastercraft.
The next outlet will be in Dubai as the aftermarket services are nothing to write home about. Subsequently, it will look at expanding in northern and southern parts of India, Sharad Malhotra, Director & President (Automotive Refinishes) at Nippon Paint India, told Mobility Outlook. To meet the demands of modern vehicles and discerning customers, Mastercraft will utilise a few cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence for precise color matching, addressing a significant challenge in the refinishing industry, he added.
Promising top-notch body and paint work, car decoration services, and ultra-fast repairs, Mastercraft boasts Japanese precision and technology at its core. The first Mastercraft store has been inaugurated in Gurugram. Operated by N-Square Automotive Services, Mastercraft Gurugram aims to serve the automobile owners of Gurugram, Delhi, and the National Capital Region (NCR) who seek impeccable paint finishes. Equipped with innovative, state-of-the-art technology and eco-friendly solutions, the Gurugram centre has the capacity to repair approximately 2,500 cars annually.
Nippon Paint plans to expand its Mastercraft network across various regions in India and overseas markets through its extensive network of partners and franchises. The expansion aims to enhance both the company's reach and the range of services offered to customers.

Services provided by Mastercraft include velocity repair for same-day delivery of minor repairs, expert bodywork and painting, comprehensive full-body paint services including colour enhancement, advanced paint protection with ceramic and graphene coating, meticulous detailing for both interior and exterior, installation of Paint Protection Film (PPF), and anti-rust coating.
