Eicher Trucks & Buses has achieved a significant milestone with its My Eicher app, now connecting over 2,75,000 trucks and buses across India. This app has been instrumental in creating a connected ecosystem, supported by an industry-first uptime centre and next-generation fleet management solutions.

The My Eicher app offers three key functions: fleet management, uptime assistance, and smart fleet solutions. This platform addresses various customer needs, including fleet health assessment, fuel management, and comprehensive fleet insights. Additionally, it provides aftermarket services and systematic trip management.

One of the primary benefits of the My Eicher app is its fleet tracking feature. It allows users to monitor their vehicles in real time, track past trips, and set geo-fencing for specific areas. Users can view their vehicle’s live location, odometer readings, fuel levels, and fuel efficiency. The app also enables the sharing of live locations and offers a real-time dashboard view of the entire fleet. Customers can create custom Points of Interest (POIs) and routes, receiving automated reports on fuel efficiency, vehicle utilisation, and stoppages.

Aftermarket services are streamlined with the My Eicher app, allowing users to book services, report breakdowns, and stay informed about their vehicle repairs in real time. The app automatically fetches the location for connected vehicles, enhancing the convenience for users.

Eicher’s Uptime Centre monitors all connected vehicles round-the-clock, using AI and ML-powered predictive diagnostics to detect potential issues. Customers receive alerts about possible damages, along with recommended actions and status updates. This proactive approach ensures excellent fleet health and minimises downtime.

My Eicher app addresses fuel management by tracking all fuel refills and drains, providing details on time, location, and quantity. This transparency reduces manual dependency and helps in optimising fuel expenses.

The app also provides fleet insights, allowing users to monitor over 50 parameters related to vehicle utilisation, fuel, safety, and driving behaviour. These insights help in generating custom reports, comparing performance, and setting alerts for various metrics. For electric vehicles (EVs), the My Eicher app offers a charging management module that tracks charging patterns and vehicle performance. Users can view charging summaries, charge and discharge graphs, and reports on EV parameters, including CO2 emissions and diesel savings.

Additional value-added services include the ability to buy and sell used trucks through Eicher Sure, locate nearby dealers and workshops, and access a knowledge centre with maintenance information. The app's marketplace offers smart solutions such as vehicle immobilisers, GPS telematics, and specialised solutions for different vehicle types.
