Maxperience hosted the first edition of ‘REVVolution 2025’ to celebrate the growing enthusiasm for motorsport in the country. The event brought together representatives from the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), automobile manufacturers, and motorsport professionals to assess the current landscape and discuss the way forward. The evening, positioned as a celebration of motorsport in India, also served as a platform to honour Indian racers who have excelled at the international level in 2024.
Arindam Ghosh, President of FMSCI, attended the event and emphasised the importance of talent development, corporate investment, and strategic planning for motorsport to thrive in India. His remarks highlighted the challenges the sport faces despite its growing popularity. While motorsport has seen an increase in participation and global recognition, concerns remain regarding infrastructure, sponsorship, and accessibility for aspiring drivers.
During the ceremony, several Indian motorsport professionals who represented the country internationally were recognised for their achievements. Among the recipients were Gaurav Gill, Jatin Jain, Sanjay Takale, Johann Reeves Emmanuel, Geoffrey Reviven Emmanuel, and Shardul Shas Sharma. Additionally, well-known racers such as Jehan Daruvala, Arjun Maini, Kush Maini, Harith Noah, and Ashish Raorane were honoured through digital recognitions for their contributions.
Arvind Balan, Director of Maxperience, reiterated the importance of continuous investment in infrastructure and talent identification to ensure sustained growth. While acknowledging the enthusiasm surrounding motorsport, he pointed out that the industry requires stronger corporate backing and structured grassroots initiatives to provide opportunities for young racers.
Although ‘REVVolution 2025’ celebrated India’s motorsport achievements, the discussions at the event reflected a crucial reality: without significant investment and long-term planning, the sport’s growth may be limited. While India has produced skilled racers, the lack of proper circuits, training facilities, and consistent financial support remains a barrier to success on a global scale. The event underlined the passion for motorsport in India but also highlighted the urgent need for collaborative efforts to build a sustainable future for the sport.
