Mooving - HPCL

Battery swapping network powered by Livguard and a brand under the SAR Group – Mooving has announced a collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). This partnership grants Mooving access to over 22,000 HPCL retail outlets nationwide to install its state-of-the-art automated swapping stations.

HPCL’s decision to partner with Mooving stems from their shared commitment to indigenous 'Make in India' technology. After extensive discussions evaluating Mooving’s technical and delivery capabilities, HPCL chose Mooving for their ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Over the next year, both companies plan to deploy more than 500 automated battery swapping stations. Utilizing Mooving’s fully automated, unmanned technology, these stations will redefine convenience and efficiency for EV users. This strategic deployment aims to boost battery swapping services, expedite the adoption of electric mobility, and provide critical support to EV customers across various regions.

The agreement was formalized with Subhankar Dutta, General Manager, Retail Strategy and Business Development at HPCL. Pritesh Talwar, President of Lectrix EV and Mooving, stated, “This major step will help create one of the largest automated battery-swapping networks in India. This partnership will also contribute to economic growth by creating new job opportunities and fostering innovation within the EV ecosystem.”
