Montra Electric’s e-small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) division, TIVOLT Electric Vehicles Private Limited, has entered a strategic partnership with technology firm Steam-A to enhance its Powerdock charging network through the integration of the Iris EV Charging Management Suite. The move is expected to improve efficiency, reliability and user experience across Montra Electric’s growing charging infrastructure, as it supports the rollout of its latest e-SCV, the EVIATOR.
The EVIATOR, launched recently, has been designed to improve standards in battery range and performance for small commercial vehicles. To meet the increased energy demands of these vehicles, the company is scaling up Powerdock, its dedicated EV charging network.
The Iris platform from Steam-A brings several technological advancements to Montra Electric’s operations. The system includes real-time operational tracking, predictive maintenance using artificial intelligence, and support for EV roaming. One of the platform’s most notable features is its AI-powered predictive failure management system, which is integrated with asset and workflow tools. This capability helps reduce maintenance costs and improve uptime of chargers, which is essential for ensuring uninterrupted operations for EV users.
In addition, Iris provides analytical insights into the performance of the network, helping Montra Electric to refine its services and plan future expansions more effectively. According to the company, these enhancements will support a more stable and cost-efficient charging ecosystem for its growing user base.
