The new MINI family has made its debut in India with the launch of the fifth-generation MINI Cooper S and the all-electric MINI Countryman. The MINI Cooper S is powered by a petrol engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering 201 bhp and a top speed of 242 kmph. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. The all-electric MINI Countryman, with 201 bhp and a maximum torque of 250 Nm, sprints from 0 to 100 km in 8.6 seconds.

These new models will be available as completely built-up units (CBU) and can be booked through authorised MINI dealers and on the company website. Deliveries are set to commence in September 2024.

The new MINI Cooper S, priced at INR 44,90,000 ex-showroom, comes in ten colours including Melting Silver, Midnight Black, Nanuq White, and British Racing Green, among others. It offers customisation options through the stylish ‘Classic Pack’ and ‘Favoured Pack,’ which include distinctive design and equipment features. The 17-inch wheels with U-Spoke Spectre Grey alloys come as standard, with additional options available in the Favoured Pack.

The all-electric MINI Countryman, priced at INR 54,90,000 ex-showroom, is available in nine colours including Smokey Green and Slate Blue. It features 17-inch Profile Aero Spoke Lighting Grey alloys as standard, with 19-inch Kaleido Spoke Two-Tone alloys available in the Favoured Pack. This model is equipped with a complimentary MINI Smart Wallbox charger for easy home charging.

The MINI Operating System 9, Intelligent Personal Assistant, Digital Key Plus, and various experience modes enhance user interaction and convenience. The all-electric MINI Countryman boasts a range of up to 462 km (WLTP) and supports fast charging, making it a practical choice for both urban and suburban travel.

The new MINI Cooper S features a 240 mm circular OLED touchscreen display, and a driver-oriented MINI Interaction Unit. The all-electric MINI Countryman, on the other hand, is designed as a minimalistic all-rounder for adventures beyond city limits. It is higher, longer, and bigger than its predecessors, offering enhanced space and versatility.

The interiors of the new MINI models feature modern, digital innovations with a minimalist design. The 240 mm circular OLED touchscreen display, high-quality textile surfaces, and ambient lighting create a comfortable and engaging environment. The multifunctional steering wheel, panoramic glass roof, and electric seat adjustments further enhance the driving experience.
