The BMW Group has scheduled a slew of product launches that will take place in the country on 24 July. The star cast will include the new 5 Series, CE 04 electric scooter, and two new Mini offerings in electric avatars.

Unveiled in 2023, the Mini range of cars will soon be joined by the Cooper range and the Countryman Electric. Bookings of both cars are currently underway for Rs. 1 lakh, with deliveries expected to begin shortly after the price announcement. The Cooper range will be offered in five colours, while the Countryman Electric range will be available in six paints.

Starting with the new Countryman range, it is available in two variants internationally, namely E and SE ALL4, both of which get a 64.7kWh battery pack. The E variant has a single motor developing 204bhp and 250Nm of torque, while the SE ALL4 variant produces 313bhp and 493Nm. The range of E and SE ALL4 variants stands at a claimed 461km and 433km, respectively on a single full charge.

The new Mini Cooper range is offered in Cooper C and Cooper S trims globally. Power for these cars comes from a 154bhp-producing 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine and a 201bhp-generating 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor, respectively. Simultaneously, the EV derivatives include the Cooper E and Cooper SE trims, propelled by 40.7kWh and 54.2kWh battery packs paired with electric motors, respectively.
