The EXE181 is a blend of MG's storied heritage and futuristic vision. Drawing inspiration from the original EXE181 of 1959, which was known for its ground-breaking aerodynamics and sci-fi appearance, the new concept carries forward the spirit of innovation. The 1959 model, with its remarkable drag coefficient of 0.12, was a marvel of its time, and its modern counterpart seeks to capture that same ethos with an updated drag coefficient of 0.181.
The design of the new EXE181 is a bold leap forward. Its sleek, stretched-out silhouette culminates in a distinctive longtail, a feature that not only enhances its visual appeal but also optimises aerodynamic efficiency. The car’s low and wide stance hints at its capabilities and the aggressive engineering focus on minimising air resistance.
