MG Motor India, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, launched Advanced Gloster starting at INR 31.99, ex-showroom, India.
Powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine, in two power output configuration including twin-turbo diesel engine producing 158.5 kW power, the new Advanced Gloster is offered with 2WD as well as 4WD configuration. Interestingly the 4WD models also get an all-terrain system with seven modes.
Additionally, MG Motors has also fitted the SUV with Door Open Warning (DOW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Lane Change Assist (LCA) over the existing 30 standard safety features. Notably the Gloster was the first vehicle in its segment to have ADAS level-1 technology at the time of its launch in October 2020.
On the inside the customers will get an option for six or seven seats and will be greeted by a 31.2 cm Touchscreen and 12 speakers audio system along with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, including the Shortpedia News App and Gaana song search via voice commands.
Furthermore, the 4WD models will also get a dual panoramic electric sunroof, a 12-way power adjust driver seat, driver seat massage and ventilation feature, and wireless charging among others.
Earlier MG Motor noted that with the i-SMART intelligent system in the new Gloster, customers will be able to connect with their car and monitor their car much more easily, activate any features they wish.
The customers of the new Gloster can avail its personalised car ownership programme “MY MG SHIELD” with over 180 after-sales service options while the vehicle comes with warranty of three years unlimited kilometers, three years of roadside assistance and three labour-free periodic services as standard.
