MG Motor India has announced crossing the 10,000 sales mark for the ZS EV since its launch in January 2020. The new facelift model of the EV was launched in March 2022 and is available in two trim levels, Excite and Exclusive, priced INR 23.38 lakh ex-showroom, India and 27.30 lakh, respectively.
The updated EV is powered by a 50.3Kwh battery with IP69K certification, giving it a claimed range of 461 kms on a single charge. Furthermore, the company claimed that the vehicles’ output has been increased to 176 PS with the updated motor, allowing a 0-100kmph time of 8.5 seconds.
The ZS EV comes with six charging options: DC Super-Fast Chargers, AC Fast Chargers, AC Fast Charger at MG dealerships, Portable charger with ZS EV, 24X7 RSA - for mobile charging support, MG Charge Initiative - a first-of-its-kind initiative by the carmaker, which aims to install 1,000 AC fast chargers within community spaces across India in 1,000 days to strengthen the EV charging infrastructure.
