MG Motor India announced that it has sold over 29,000 vehicles in H1CY23 against 24,000 units sold during the same period a year earlier, registering 21% growth.
As per the company, the launch of the next-gen variant of Hector in January, and demand for the company’s flagship EV-ZS, contributed significantly to the growth. The brand also registered its highest-ever retail sales of 6,051 units in March 2023.
The company sold 115,000 vehicles in the European market alone, a 143% year-on-year increase, while MG's NEVs accounted for over 50% of its total sales in January-June.
The company’s products and services are available in 28 European countries with more than 830 outlets with monthly deliveries exceeding 20,000 units in a row for four consecutive months.
The carmaker recently announced its five-year business roadmap to strengthen business operations for sustainable growth and a meaningful impact on society in India.
